Overall very pleased, we would definitely come back. Outstanding position, shortish walk to village. Footpath walk to coastal beaches possible at low tide, otherwise not far but by foot is along a not so busy road.

The evening meal we had on our second night was a little disappointing - the waiters seemed to be under some stress, coping with large groups at the same time.

The overall impression of our stay was excellent.

The dinner buffet was disappointing. We have a 12-year-old son who does not speak French. Our own French is patchy. One of the easiest exercises would have been to simply translate the dishes and have them in two or three languages (you know which countries your guests come from). The heating devices were only switched on as we arrived, some even later. So some of the dishes (ray, poultry) was almost cold, which messes up the taste. The duck was half-rare, which may be custom, but there was no hint that one could get it cooked through in the kitchen. Again, a simple translated sign or an introduction by the attendants. Same with the ray. Heated up, we'd gladly eaten it. In the end, an attendant came to us and began talking to my wife with no introduction whatsoever, that he would have cooked the duck for us. He seemed rather unhappy. We were too.
In the spa, there was a defective bed parked in the way during our entire stay.

We love staying here it's one of our favourite hotels in France.. Everyone is so lovely and friendly, hotel is amazing and food fantastic.

We enjoyed the hotel. The dining room was lovely and the grounds and gardens very beautiful. Food and drink were very expensive.
